Ben Johnson is an Analyst with Value Incorporated. He advises clients through a variety of engagements including mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and financial reporting.
The scope of his work includes valuation analyses and consulting for mergers and acquisitions, including fairness opinions and purchase price allocations, as well as valuation opinions for financial reporting, such as stock-option valuations, goodwill impairment studies, and transfer pricing analysis. Additionally, he provides valuations of business and partnership interests in matters relating to gift and estate taxes.
Prior to joining VALUE Incorporated, Mr. Johnson co-managed over $150 million in assets and provided comprehensive wealth management and retirement strategies. He began his career in mortgage banking, where he developed expertise in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA lending.
Mr. Johnson is currently a Level II CFA candidate. He earned his MBA from Southern Methodist University, where he concentrated in finance and real estate. He also earned a B.S. from Texas Tech University, where he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and served on the Executive Council.
